Fertinagro belongs to a group of companies that form the Tervalis Group that since its foundation in Teruel in 1986, looks to the future with the aim to lead the sectors in which it carries out its activity in Spain and increasing its international presence without abandoning its signs of identity, its enthusiasm for work and its commitment.

The commitment we have undertaken ensure that the group is growing in a continuous and sustainable way. Its consolidation and driving force is based on its human team, with about 1,500 employees in different continents; research and innovation makes it an investment of three million euros a year for more than ten years, turning this pillar of group activity into a competitive advantage that is applied to all transformation processes; top quality raw materials; a technological and industrial production that is competitive and respectful with the natural environment and has solid financial and commercial resources have allowed it to position itself in international markets with powerful alliances, reaching in 2016 a turnover that exceeds 500 million euros.

Fertinagro is a company dedicated to the production and commercialization of plant nutrients that groups the subsidiaries present in Spain, France, Italy, Mexico, Algeria, Argentina, Ukraine and Portugal, and continues to grow the production to be present all over the world in the coming years. Currently we hold the first positions in RDI at European level, with 37 patents.

Fertinagro's commitment to RDI has made it part of the patronage of the Aula Dei Foundation, the technological platform of Plant Biotechnology (BIOVEGEN) and the Research Centre for Energy Resources and Consumption (CIRCE), and also collaborates with the main research centres and teachers throughout the country.

In addition to the research that Grupo Térvalis carries out in the field of agro nutrients, it is also driving research in the field of animal nutrition, developing enzymes that reduce the contribution of nutrients in the ration.

The internationalization of Fertinagro grows parallel to the food and renewable energies section groups, which invest in the territory contributing to improve the quality of life of the whole society.
